I believe the camp is very good. The providers care. None of these camps are going to solve all problems. They try both and the youth end and parents by teaching the skills to succeed.

I thought the food was wonderful, staff caring, and all my needs were met. I learned coping skills, trigger skills, and my favorite, ‘play the tape all the way to the end’. As with any facility that brings in all ages and all kinds of addictions, drama is inevitable, but was promptly handled. My favorite part is that with one phone call, their Intake Staff handled it all. We called one evening and I checked in 36 hours later.

I became sober here Nov 1, 2010. I thought the food was wonderful, staff caring, and all my needs were met. As with any facility that has all age groups and all addictions, some drama was inevitable, but handled immediately. Best part: one phone call, and Camp Intake Staff handled it ALL. Called Friday night and told to show up Monday. I was taught coping skills, trigger skills and my favorite ‘play the tape all the way to the end’.

The staff is excellent, you are surrounded by redwoods and you have options to practice yoga, acupuncture and mindfulness. This place is one of a kind!

It was a good experience!! But all that money and the food is disgusting far from healthy in anyway almost like jail food.the climbing wall and Zipline are not functioning and haven't been for months now!! It needs adjustments but the stay was good

This experience was one of the greatest in my life, the people, food, staff. I got the support I needed to make it, and I am appreciative of this everyday. The people at the camp were really helpful and kind!!

So scary on my first day but after the following 29 days it was absolutely amazing. The people there are amazing and very caring. I will never forget the bitchin people I met and am still in contact with. It was absolutely the right choice.

You have to do the work, but everything you need is there to be successful. I found it to be just the right mix of comfort and structure. Yet it was not like a country club vacation.

I cannot thank The Camp Recovery enough for the help they provided my family. My daughter's life has completely turned around for the better. They provided a safe place and guided her on to her sobriety. As a parent, I highly recommend The Camp. I will forever be grateful I found this place.

My partner spent time at The Camp 20 years ago. Yup, it's rehab. No way to make it a walk in the park. But that stay did turn his life around. He passed from liver disease 4 years ago, but he was clean and sober for a long time. The Camp didn't make this happen--he chose to make this happen--but The Camp pointed him in the right direction. Thank you.

This place really made a difference in my life. Crystal meth was taking over my life when I was just 16. It was expensive, but I made a real connection with the staff, especially Walter and Yolanda. Fun activities were provided and trips outside the facility which was nice. I loved it, this place saved me.
